Balance

  • Mode S6 now provides a Fountain Defender – additional anti-hero turret inside the fountain. It has a high attackspeed with a splash attack and a -20 armor aura. Only attacks heroes.

  • Sentry Ward now contains 1 charge, cost halved as well

  • Tether can no longer be picked with Shadow Dance
  • Ensnares and Entangles (Frostbite, Overgrowth, etc) now follow the same diminishing returns rules as stuns, sharing the same counter.

Diminishing returns system reminder:

  • The more disables affect a single hero in a row, the duration of each newly applied disable is reduced (100%/75%/50%/30% of normal duration – explanation: 1st stun has full duration, 2nd cast has only 75% dur, etc.)). This rule affects most (not all) stuns and ensnares. The diminishing returns panelty starts at the second stun, and has a reset timer of 6 seconds.

Fixes and non-balance changes

  • Fixed Static Field keep triggering on-enemy-cast even while being affected by Break
  • Fixed some secondary subskills counting as proper spell cast
  • Ghost Form (KOTL’s ulty) no longer counts as valid spell cast
  • Fountains cannot miss anymore when S6 mode active
  • Fixed stun duration when diminishing returns active rounding down to closes decimal (1.15 -> 1.1 etc)
  • Stun diminishing return won’t consider stuns less than for 0.25 seconds (means it won’t penaltize following stuns just because unit have been affected by microstun)
  • Fixed improper damage reduction when attacking creeps with some protection buffs
  • Freezing Field, Rage and Life Break spell immunity no longer interrupt each other
  • Fixed Overcharge providing double or even bigger heal amount
  • Fixed Bloodrage (new) tooltip
  • Default -dm lives from 66 to 110
  • Black Hole cannot multicast anymore

    • Icarus Dive duration from 4 to 2 seconds, DPS from 10/30/50/70 to 20/60/100/140
    • False Promise cooldown from 60/45/30 to 60/55/50
    • Essence Aura now banned with Rearm
    • Midnight Pulse damage reduced by 25% on all levels
    • Invisibility traces spawn rate reduced from 1 per 1.25 to 1 per 2.4 seconds
    • Spit traveling speed from 700 to 1200
    • Repel CD reduced from 18 to 14
    • Piercing attack damage interaction with unarmored and lightly armored units rescaled: from 2x / 0.75x to 1.5x for both armor types
    • Removed Medium and Large armor types, all units moved to unarmored (light)
    • RD pre-pick time increased for D2-D5 modifiers
    • Daytime is now frozen on RD picking stage
    • RD no longer allows hero to act until pick stage is over
    • Added hero link inside RD dummies to check stats, you can as well alt-click them to announce your choice for allies
