Global features
Enemy taverns are visible on sd mode without additional taverns (without d2/d3/d4/d5), allows serious counterplay
(Not revealed for -md to not let see tavern swapping at least while taverns are already “visible”)
-ready command removed (except for test mode)
-random command removed (except for test mode)
-repick no longer cost any gold


Rescaled Relocate:
Cooldown 100/85/70 -> 90/75/60, manacost 150 -> 175, delay 2.7/2.35/2.0 -> 3.5/3.0/2.5
Can be disabled by root only at end of duration (however, cannot be cast while rooted)
As well, teleport will not happen if caster is silenced at end of delay.
Aghanim upgrade no longer affects cooldown and manacost. Instead, it decreases delay by additional 0.5 second and casting Relocate Upgraded will not ping on minimap for enemies.
Relocate is no longer forbidden for Formless.
Polymorphs couldn’t be casted during Relocate delay (some technical reasons)

Charge of Darkness no longer stuns main target longer than others (nerf, applies normal Greater Bash only)
This also means Charge wont stun Magic Immune primary target
Greater Bash is now counted like normal bash (doesnt affect by reducing duration of continious stuns)
When 2 Charging heroes rushes through or right on other, they both bashing each other instead of effect being based on luck.

Illuminate charging no longer based on Spirit Form. Requires Aghanim for charging without channeling instead.
Bonus damage during night decreased from 50% to 33%. Heal allies during day stays 50%.

Troll Fervor attackspeed bonus from 10/14/18/22 PER ATTACK to 12/18/24/30 PER HIT (does not count misses attacks)
Max stacks 7 -> 8
Armor debuff removed
Also removed 0.4 delay per which next stack coudnt be taken, so very fast and instant attacks also grants bonus

Haunt illusion damage 40% -> 40/60/80% (20% -> 25/40/55% ranged)

Epicenter damage per pulse 130 -> 110 (wlc, became too strong with spell amp introduction)
AS MS Slow from 50% to 30%
Cast time 1.5 sec -> 2.0 sec. Yes, this is impossible to cast it during stun from Burrowstrike. Just like that was always in Dota.

Wild Axes damage rescaled from 60/90/120/150 per axe to 45/75/105/135, cooldown 10 -> 8, manacost 100/110/120/130 -> 90/105/120/135

Spiked Carapace buff duration 2.5 -> 2

Chronosphere and Dismember now properly stops most kinds of Forced Movements instantly

Geostrike now can be used by illusions and working vs allies.

Powershot no longer counts casting time started from 0.3 seconds, which grants minimum damage nearly as half of max. Max cast time 0.75 -> 1

Requiem of Souls manacost 150/175/200 -> 200/250/300

Shrapnel slow lasts only 0.5 seconds after leaving area instead of 2 seconds (fix/nerf) and applies slow on just entered units much faster

Stasis Trap now becomes visible in delay between activasion and blast and plays proper animation for enemies as well

Guinsoo Scytche cooldown 25 -> 22, manacost 100 -> 250

Vacuum now deals damage if pull was interrupted by other FM

Linken Sphere now fully blocks Omnislash on cast instead of just being broken without any block.

Lion Impale stun 1.4/1.8/2.2/2.6 -> 1.5/1.8/2.1/2.4
Nerubian Assassin Impale stun 1.6/2.0/2.4/2.8 -> 1.5/1.8/2.1/2.4
Nerubian’s Impale has a bit less manacost but cannot be clocked or reflected, so it keeps longer cooldown.

Gravekeeper’s Cloak scales linearly again, otherwise it would be very weak after bugfix.

Soul Rip max targets 9/12/15/18 -> 8/9/10/11, heal/dmg per target 18/22/26/30 -> 22/29/36/43
Now properly counts Magic Immune allies around, including zombies.

Zombies no longer spawns on spellimune enemies (just like The Swarm beetles not latches)

Midnight Pulse damage multiplier decreased by 0.25%. This affected upgraded Blackhole damage too.

Empty Bottle no longer have active ability (use rightclick on runes; prevents incresing cast range on runes by Lens)

Tiny Toss no longer allowed to toss invulnerable units
Damage to projectile changed from 2 instances to 1 and fixed at 30% bonus damage instead of increasing with Grow
Manacost 120 -> 90/100/110/120, cooldown 8 -> 11/10/9/8


Pit Lord Base Damage 70-76 -> 62-68, BAT 1.9 -> 1.7
Phantom Lancer base MS 295 -> 300
Undying base damage decreased by 2


Optimized some things on -dm mode
-unstuck now properly removes all additional effects like stuns, invulnerability, etc
Dragon Tail now orders to attack enemy by same rule as Toss, Blink Strikes, etc: if haven’t other orders.
Increased effects size on Gyrocopter, Magnataur, Tiny, Flesh Golem
Improved Spiked Carapace visibility
Decreased visual size of some Ancient creeps and hover height of Black Dragons and Black Drakes
Decreased visual size of Tempest
Fire Remnants got their own duration timer over head which is visible as for owner as for allies
Crimson Guard recipe is now usable (for fast purchasing Buckler if need)
Plague Ward, Mass Serpent Ward model size decreased from 1 to 0.8
Improved Soul Rip perfomance
Added visual effects on Battery Assault
Silencer Last Word overhead indicator changed to Normal Silence

Courier cooldown in market 2 sec -> 0.1 sec


  • Fixed: heroes not getting experience for killed creeps
  • Fixed: creeps dying to neutrals now grant full experience
  • Fixed: experience for Midas’ing creeps wasn’t growing over time
  • Fixed: Skewer not slowing attackspeed. Slow rescaled to 10/20/30/40%, duration to 3.25 sec at all levels.



  • After buyback hero getting buff-indicator again (was removed in g4). It will stay until next death. Tip on buff says about penalty on respawn.
  • Ban stage removed from ARDM mode
  • Fixed mistake in groups which causes random errors (main reason why 86g4 was reverted)
  • Forced movements/high speed:
    • Improved interaction of some Forced Movements (Force Staff, etc.) with close units and obstacles
    • Fixed interaction of Fire Remnant movement and other Forced Movements
    • Non-disabling forced movements now prevent movement. Especially important for Flamebreak, Gust, Tether and Blinding Light
    • This also means that units will not act strangely after being forcestaffed, after leap, etc.
    • Units with non-standard high speeds should not run weirdly as well anymore: e.g. shapeshift, chronosphere, thirst, shadow dance aghanim
  • Fixed interactions of invises and instant attacks:
    • instant attack cannot trigger bonus dmg from invis on each attack without cancelling invis
    • instant attack stops invis like a normal attack
  • Fixed Black Dragon aura
  • Improved interaction of Skewer, Meat Hook, Reaper’s Scythe and dead heroes: If unit dies during one of these skills, it will stop on place of death (Important for Aegis respawn)
  • Reaper’s Scythe visual and hidden effects now trigger instantly on death instead of waiting for death timer (may otherwise cause issues if too-fast buyback)
  • Improved forced attack conditions
  • Fixed (again) abuse of Leap charges
  • Fixed (?) possible bug with night vision from Lunar Blessing
  • Fixed Winter’s Curse malfunction
  • Macropyre gets increased damage from multicast instead of spawning multiple Macropyres. This should improve FPS (Note: total damage instances amount will be same as without multicast)
  • Fixed Diabolic Edict targets
  • Fixed Soul Rip malfunction when there are too many units around
  • Custom (not stable) movespeed bonuses over 522 properly grants bonuses, based on movespeed
  • Improved interaction of multiple active Chronospheres of same player
  • Fixed last reason of Hookshot visual staying forever
  • Hero no longer gets stuck on cliff after using Furion Teleportation
  • Improved interaction of some spells with Linken/Lotus: There are no more skills which are blocked/reflected on cast while should actually be on spell-impact
  • Cold arrows and Flaming arrows autocast toggling no longer counted as interrupting spell for some abils e.g. Charge of Darkness.
  • Tombstone no longer appears on unpathable terrain
  • Fixed interaction of multiple Heavenly Graces on single target
  • Some spells based on Chain Lightning (culling blade, arcane bolt, homing missile, aphotic shield, astral imprisonment) are now based on other spell: no longer locked for a short time after using it (also affects other instant spells)
  • Shadowraze (Close) no longer falsely has additional 0.2 cast time
  • Fixed interaction of Blade Fury and timed polymorphs
  • Fixed bug caused by 2 existing polymorphs and reincarnating (Aegis) (Thanks chaeyoung<3 for reporting this rare problem!)
  • Linkens Sphere refreshing (Refreshes Orb, test -refresh cmd) working properly now
  • Mjollnir Static Charge lightnings no longer jumps on invisible for caster units.
  • Fixed Nether Swap Upgraded charges amount displaying
  • Ancient Black Dragon model size decreased a bit
  • Fixed Macropyre Cast Range
  • Fixed Leap leveling up (charged were restored on next charge tick and cooldown non-updated if charges are full already)


  • Heavily decreased spawn zone size of Central Sentinel neutral camp (relevant for pulling/blocking: hold ALT key to highlight the spawn zone)
  • Slightly decreased sizes of Central Scourge Right Scourge spawn camps (in main forest) – no longer blockable by wards on hills
  • Recoded Roshan Buffer, no longer bugging, especially in armor amounts.
  • Also changed Roshan stats:
    • Minutes count starts on creep spawn
    • Damage 75 + 6 per minute
    • Armor 20 + 0.325 per minute
    • HP 6000 + 115 per minute
    • Always Phased now
    • Bonus damage and armor are “Green”, so they cannot be reduced by percentage-based penalty.
    • e.g. after 30 minutes, Roshan will have 255 damage, 29 armor and 9450 hp

    • Travel Speed slightly increased.
    • Slows by 50% at hit, degenerates by 1% every 0.3 seconds.
    • Damage on hit from 25/50/75/100 to 40/60/80/100
    • Damage per tick from 10/40/70/100 to 25/50/75/100
    • Cooldown from 16 to 22/20/18/16 (due to increased damage at start)
  • Malefice:
    • Multicasted Malefice now increases duration instead of permastunning enemy. 6 total ticks for x2 and 9 for x3. Same rule applies to reflected Malefice
    • Malefice can now be properly dispelled: basic dispel prevents next ticking, strong dispel removes current stun too
    • Malefice will renew stacks and increase debuff level if necessary when used on target already affected by it, instead of applying independent stuns
  • Demonic conversion manacost 170 -> 140/150/160/170.
  • Demonic conversion movespeed 260/280/300/320 -> 280/310/340/370, hp 280/310/340/370 -> 180/240/300/360, damage tweaked.
  • Nether Ward now functioning without delay after placement. Spells no longer trigger at all if caster dies to Nether Ward
  • Illusory orb damage source changed from orb to hero itself, means creeps will be aggroed on this damage.
  • Ethereal Jaunt (Illusory Orb subskill) cooldown 5 -> 0.1
  • Holy Persuasion grants additional damage to controlled unit as Base Damage, 8/16/24/32.
  • Chaos Meteor rolling range no longer improved by castrange bonus.
  • Shackleshot can now be evaded.
  • Charge of Darkness speed changed from multiplier x1.5…x2.25 (g4 version) to 250/300/350/400 bonus to base ms.
  • Boulder Smash cast range 100 -> 150
  • Nether Strike now grants Shared Vision (not true sight) on target during channel time and debuff icon on panel of victim.
  • Hellfire Blast damage decreased slightly
  • Fixed damage from Meld, BH Wind Walk, Vendetta was multiplied twice on owner spell amplification.

  • Dazzle Poison Touch start position changed from hero to 200 range in front of, effectively increases maximum range of wave from 800 to 1000, however cannot hit units behind anymore.
  • Battle Hunger now decreases overall damage dealt by affected enemies instead of giving damage resistance to caster, -8/12/16/20%

  • Splinter Blast no longer ignores Ancients
  • Multiple active Berserker’s Call interacts fine now (new Call cancels previous immediately, without intersections)
  • Berserker’s Call duration is now affected by enemy Status Resistance (bugfix)
  • Berserker’s Call main duration from 1.6/2.0/2.4/2.8 to 2.0/2.3/2.6/2.9, cooldown 13 -> 18/16/14/12
  • Minimized Spin Web vision range (200 -> 64)
  • Earth Spirit’s Rolling boulder no longer grants attack order on target if hero has other orders in queue, allows spell combos (just like with blink strikes and toss)
  • Liquid Fire DPS 20/25/30/35 -> 21/28/35/42, damage vs buildings 100% -> 33%
  • Liquid Fire cast range 600 -> 550
  • Snowball speed 675 -> 600/625/650/675
  • Ball Lightning cast time 0.3 -> 0.35

  • Epicenter cooldown 100/90/80 -> 120/110/100 (non-upgraded only). Upgraded version stays 90/80/70
  • Fortune’s End manacost 110 -> 100
  • Disruption and Astral Imprisonment duration is now properly reduced by enemy status resistance
  • Impales:
    • Stun from Impale-type spells (Impale Lion, Impale NA, Burrowstrike, Ravage) no longer split into 2 parts – on raise and on falling; now stuns for full duration instantly
    • If the stun is dispelled, unit falls down and takes damage instantly
    • Total stun duration changed to be nearly the same
    • Smoothed out animation of impaled units
  • Burrowstike cast time 0.1 -> 0.01. Burrowstrike now disables caster for 0.5 seconds after cast. Stun duration now scales per level
  • Ravage damage 200/290/380 -> 200/300/400, speed decreased a bit


  • Nulifier main debuff duration 5 sec -> 6
  • Aeon Disk cooldown 115 -> 130, duration 2.5 -> 2

  • Axe str grow 2.7 -> 2.8, base ms 295 -> 305, base dmg +3
  • Bounty Hunter base STR 17 -> 19, base AGI 23+3.0 -> 21+3.2, total starting dmg +5 (48-62)
  • Naga Siren AGI 23+2.9 -> 21+3.1, base INT 18 -> 19
  • Ember Spirit str grow 2.0 -> 2.2
  • Sand King STR 21 + 2.6 -> 22 + 3.0, base INT 16 -> 19

  • Buyback cooldown increased from 7 to 8 minutes
  • Buyback cost from “100+lvl*lvl*3/2+MinutesForTime*15” to “100+networth/13
  • Buyback no longer reduces gold gain but increases next respawn time by 25 seconds instead
  • Hero ban stage duration 30 sec -> 25 sec
  • Fixed interaction of timed polymorphs and cooldown reset
  • Infernals, Ghosts and Serpent Wards damage vs towers is no longer decreased by 25%
  • Pseudo HP Removal damage type no longer aggro neutrals (heartstopper, static field, dispersion, elune’s arrow in creeps, nightmare, dispersion, arctic burn, orb of venom and venomancer and gnoll poisons
  • Fixed some group leaks

  • Shapeshift base movespeed from 522 to 305 – still provides high speed for the duration (This only means that illusions will no longer have 522 ms when Shapeshift duration on the caster has ended)
  • Fixed Psi Blades dealing too little damage
  • Fixed Soul Assumption (Visage 2) not losing charges on cast
  • Gravekeeper’s Cloak (Visage 3) protection per layer now stacks multiplicatively with itself (nerf)
    • e.g. maximum protection (lvl 4, 4 charges) changed from 0.2*4=0.80 to (1-0.2)^4~=0.59
    • Added visual charge indicator
  • Familiar (Visage 4) auto-stoneform finally works correctly
  • Fixed losing unit selection caused by Snowball
  • Recoded Arc Lightning and Lightning Storm, now both properly upgraded by spell amplification
  • Fixed Hand of God Upgraded heal amount
  • Timewalk is now properly affected by castrange bonus
  • Leech Seed duration 4.5 -> 5.25 sec, amount of pulses 6 -> 7, heal/dmg per pulse 15…60 -> 12…48, cast range 350 -> 500, manacost 140 -> 110/120/130/140.
  • Fixed Mortal Wounds damage
  • Fixed caster facing after Sleight of Fist end
  • Charge of Darkness fixed speed changed to x1.5/x1.75/x2.0/x2.25 of his current speed. This means slows will affect you during Charge. Stun duration 1.2…2.4 -> 1.2…2.1
  • Lightning Grapple and Swoop Down no longer pierces enemy’s magic immunity
  • Fixed Upheaval slowing allies
  • Fixed Death Ward hitting invisible enemies
  • Fixed being unable to walk through cliffs with brood web until death if the hero has been damaged in the last 3 seconds before going in his first web in game
  • Heroes cannot get stuck on cliffs anymore when using Ethereal Jaunt or Lightning Grapple
  • Shadow Wave no longer jumps on tombstone zombies
  • Fixed order IDs of ward-type spells (problem happened after reworking rhasta wards)
  • Fixed Fireshow damage being lower than intended
  • Diabolic Edict no longer explodes on dead units
  • Geminate Attack no longer procs on other instant attacks (Stifling Dagger, Sleight of Fist, Omnislash)
  • Fixed Vengeance Aura buff colors


  • Fixed refreshing with dropping and picking up items
  • Fixed (?) Arcane boots and BKB sometimes not having cooldown
  • Fixed Quelling Blade and Battle Fury bonus damage conditions
  • Fixed Tranquil boots cancelling conditions
  • Tranquil Boots recipe changed to boots + wind lace + ring of regen, 3 armor bonus to 4 hpreg bonus, 16 regen total
  • Bottle:
    • Fixed dying with bottled runes
    • if 2 minutes holding expires while your hero is dead, a bottled rune will be used as soon as your hero respawns
    • Bottle goldcost 660 -> 650, regeneration per charge 90 hp / 60 mp -> 125 hp / 75 mp
    • Rune of Regeneration hpmp regen from 3000 hp, 2000 mp per 30 seconds to 6% of max both hp and mana
    • Still 30 seconds max duration, still cancellable by non-self damage, still stops at full hpmp
  • Heaven’s Halberd cooldown 30 -> 18
  • Wind Lace Goldcost 235 -> 250. Can no longer be purchased at side shops
  • Stout Shield damage block 16/8 -> 20/9. Does not stack with other Stout Shields anymore
  • Fixed Linken’s Sphere Share (using on ally) cooldown
  • Soul Booster and Octarine Core no longer grant manaregen
  • Necronomicon Warrior’s Last Will damage type changed from Pure to Magical
