Global changes

  • Ban stage duration increased from 15 to 30 seconds
  • Autoban heroes wont ban same hero twice
  • Pick time increased to 5.5 minutes independent of mode, addtime removed (-rd unchanged)
  • Swapped numbers of Arc Warden and Talon Queen. This may prevent taking Talon skills on random.
  • Spell Amplification now grants strict 0.07 SpellAmp per 1 intelligence point instead of 0.0(6)
  • Illusions no longer die when attacking Roshan, but deal only 20% damage

Quality of life & Visuals

  • Dropping items now saves their current cooldown (important with CDR=Cooldown Reduction bonus)
    • Upgrading items on cd wont change cooldown with existing CDR.
    • BKB can now be used properly with CDR.
    • If you have CDR, all items with a similar ability type launch the same CD
  • Selling items with odd goldcost (ending in 5) refunds full gold instead of losing 1g
  • Improved visual effects on Waning Rift
  • Fixed visual effects appearing on targets of Plasma Field and Aphotic Shield
  • Improved manaburn (am/diffusal) effect and backstab visuals on range attackers
  • Critical strikes performed while having negative attack damage will display “0” crit instead of negative amounts if no damage was dealt
  • Critical Strikes will display total potential damage, including damage from manaburn, fury swipes, backstab, quell blade, etc (even though not all of them increase critical damage)

Balance
Skills

  • Ball Lightning + Essence Aura can no longer be picked together
  • Nether Ward + Rearm can no longer be picked together
  • Multicast no longer consumes additional mana on multicasts
  • Heartstopper Aura damage type from “Divine” to “Magical” (still does not interact with On-damage effects)
    • It’s now amplified by spell amplification and reduced by enemy magic resistance, e.g. Lens, Veil or Natural Order will increase it’s damage
    • Damage intervals 0.5 sec -> 0.2 sec, damage per second 0.8/1.2/1.6/2.0% of max hp -> 0.8/1.3/1.8/2.3%
  • Bristleback no longer protects from HP removal damage, but protects from non-reflectable damage. However, non-reflectable damage does not trigger stacking quills anymore, so Bristleback may be countered, e.g. by mass Blademails
  • Drunken Brawler no longer grants guaranteed critical strike/evasion. Drunken Brawler no longer overlaps higher crits
  • Requiem of Souls now only releases lines of damaging souls on death if the ability is not on cooldown
  • Shadow Dance with Aghanim AoE 325 -> 425
  • Chronosphere duration without aghanim from 3.0/3.2/3.4 to 3.0/3.5/4.0, with aghanim from 3.5/3.7/3.9 to 3.5/4.0/4.5

  • Silver Edge no longer reduces the victim’s damage output by 50%
  • Maelstrom and Mjollnir lightnings got 0.2 seconds innate cooldown (can’t be reduced)
  • Tranquil Boots no longer cancels when you attack non-hero units
  • Satanic status resistance bonus 30% -> 25%

Neutrals
Neutrals with spell immunity (Black Dragons, Lizards, Rock and Emerald Golems) got 70% spell resistance instead.+++

Mana Break

  • Necronomicon manabreak recoded, now fully triggered like AM or Diffusal
  • Necronomicon Warrior no longer receives AoE Last Will with Synergy. Instead, Synergy improves his manabreak by 10/20/30/40. Removable by Break effects
  • Necronomicon Archer keeps his constant BM effect
  • Diffusal Blade no longer has lower amount of manaburn for ranged heroes (same 50 manaburn as melees now)
  • Diffusal Blade bonus damage now only increases attack damage by 80% per point of burned mana instead of 100%
  • Necronomicon and AM manaburns now only deal 50% additional damage per burned mana instead of 100%
  • AM manabreak for ranged heroes increased from 50% to 66%, from 25% to 33% for ranged illusions

Global
Fixed sudden crashes from g0
Revamped lifesteal:

  • Blade Mail will now return damage before lifesteal’s healing and spell lifesteal
  • This means that if the caster doesn’t have enough HP to survive the reflected damage, he will now die. Before, he would heal and survive it.
  • Lifesteal from attacks now also procs after being reflected
  • Lifesteal is now allowed by illusions and when attacking illusions
  • Attacking illusions will heal like attacking a real hero, without illusion multiplier’s number
  • Illusions will heal themselves based on the real damage they’ve dealt

Fixed interaction of damage negation and ondamage effects:
Even if the damage has been fully negated (abaddon 2 4, false promise, winter curse, aeon disk, refraction, etc etc etc), ondamage effects won’t proc: dagger won’t be disabled, potions won’t be dispelled, etc)
This also means that any lifesteal from the target will be reduced by the target’s damage resistance (same as all previous + partial damage blocks aka Dispersion, Bristleback, etc)

Quality of Life

  • Oscillate In/Out (Wisp Spirits) no longer interrupts channeling
  • Hero and Spirit Bear do not forget their target when using Battle Cry
  • Casting Leap no longer interrupts current order of the caster (still inteppupts channeling)
  • Flame Guard no longer interrupts current order of the caster
  • Blade Fury no longer cancels phase state of the caster

Rebalance

  • Cheese now restores 1500 mana instead of 1000 (7.00)
  • Doom now applies silence and Break before it’s first damage instance
  • Fixed vision duration from Lightning Bolt and Thundergod’s Wrath being 2 times longer than intended

Global gameplay changes

  • Added all bonus hero skin models currently available in DotA 6.89. Donate to receive them,
  • Added Ban stage before pick stage to all modes (sd, md, rd, ar). Banning happens in “-ap mode” taverns. For 15 seconds, every player can vote to ban heroes. The nominated heroes will be banned randomly, 5 minimum and 7 maximum. If someone did not vote, his vote will count for a random hero. These heroes will then be removed from all pools in all picking modes and their skills will not exist in -ar and -rd modes. In non-5v5 games, ban nomination and count does not change. Bans won’t exist in -bo (balance off) mode
  • Changed armor formula for negative numbers: Damage will not grow with insanely fast when attacking a target with a lot of -armor. Also, doesn’t have a limit of -20 armor anymore
  • Improved denying of lane creeps: instead of 50% exp to enemy it grants 40% to enemy and 20% gold to denying player
  • Creeps killed by neutrals grant 50% of normal experience to an enemy
  • Roots no longer interrupt channeling except teleportation by scroll or boots

Quality of Life

  • Improved interaction between Forced Movements (FM) when units are dragged somewhere instantly or for a short time
  • This means that most FM spells can now be stopped by other FM spells
  • Improved Relocate camera changing/unit selection:
  • Improved doubletapping hotkey for AM and QoP Blinks, Blink Dagger, Teleportation, Fire Remnant Movement, Relocate and Watcher Blink:
  • Improved interaction of different Ball Lightning casts: it’s now possible again to use Ball Lightning during Ball Lightning.

It’s also possible to stop rolling by doubletapping skill and it will not cost any mana but will still take it’s cast time.
We hope it wont make skill too overpowered, however, Aghanim Upgrade… Is just removed.

  • Improved shift-queueing interaction with skills like:
  • Improved Disjointing many projectiles by all disjointing spells (e.g. Windrun), same as for all blinks for which disjoininting already worked correctly.
  • Improved and corrected positions of illusions created by Mirror Image spells:

Nether Ward, Swarm Beetles, Tombstone will not selected by with other units. Unfortunately, not Tombstone Zombies.
Healing ward will be selected with other units.
Also this means that Tombstone will not be affected by auras (currently only affects Scorched Earth regen aura)

  • All Impale-type skills allows moving under thrown units: these units are Phased. Skills: Burrowstrike, Impale NA, Impale Lion, Ravage. Also affects Torrent
  • Upgraded versions of Supernova and Timelapse can now target self while invulnerable (can’t target invulnerable allies)
  • Also some other skills which can target invulnerable units:

Assassinate (can channel on but not affect invulnerable), Dark Rift, Empower, Bloodlust, Empower, Frost Armor (all 3 types), Poof (it still teleports to position and not unit, but can target freely)

  • With different guaranteed crits (walrus, jinada, drunken brawler) additional ones will not be wasted when previous procs. Priority: walrus-jinada-drunken.
  • Recoded Morpling Morph – now no longer only morphs one agi/str or reverse conversion but instead all of the stat until ordered to stop. More info:
  • Lowered priority of couriers of leavers (using flying courier recipe no longer upgrades leaver’s courier if it could upgrade your own)
  • All polymorphs/transformations are now temporary allowed to be picked together. More info:
  • Recoded Geminate Attack, no longer Orb Effect and now also works on melee. Allowed to pick on melee and affected by CDR (same as with Echo Sabre, does not deal double damage in Sleight of Fist)

Miscellaneous bugfixes:

  • Fixed movespeed of some courier types being less than intended(Grunt, Minipudge, Minitechies)
  • Fixed StartChatString1 in config file not working.
  • Spell Amplification now counts every point of intelligence as damage instead of only divided by 15.
  • Fixed abusable bug caused by Time Walk
  • Fixed small abuse with dropping aghanim on skills with charges when they are upgraded only (previously only Demonic Purge), fix is applied for all new aghanims too
  • Fixed (finally) Poison Touch not working correctly in the last few versions
  • Fixed Spirit Form’s Recall working on enemies
  • Fixed Adaptive Strike with multicast
  • Fixed Deafening Blast level of effect not upgrading (didn’t affect Aghanim)

  • Ball Lightning will not waste mana if it’s not enough for start rolling
  • Enemies are no longer able to see enemy Torrent and Ice Path in fog

  • Infest no longer pauses entered unit. This means it will not longer bugged with polymorphs like prolonging duration of them, especially constant 650 movespeed for all owner units during unlimited Shapeshift.
  • Boots of Travel teleportation can now be stopped by capturing targeted unitl (e.g. Dominator, Enchant)
  • False Promise should no longer prevent changing life by Sunder and Time Lapse
  • Fixed Moon Glaive and Poison Sting still having picking restrictions (also both are now pickable with Impetus)
  • Fixed Call Down slowing spellimmune enemies
  • Decay no longer decreases current hp of caster at the end of the duration
  • Increased maximum negative armor by Eye of The Storm from -31 to -127
  • Improved Meld and Bonty Hunter WW detection proc bonus damage.
  • Sleight of Fist no longer allows to hit instantly after returning, now has a 0.2 seconds delay before attacking regularly. This should prevent triple attack in a split second in 1v1 fights.
  • Cheese is no longer droppable through “Drop Items” and “Collect all your items” courier orders.
  • Improved behaviour of Haunt and Reflection illusions.
  • Fixed interaction of multiple casts of Stampede – properly prolongs duration on allies and renews already damaged enemies.

No additional manacost on successful multicasts
Aghanim upgrade provides Unrefined Fireblast and turns 20% of x2 multicasts into x3 casts
This means total chance to proc remains the same, but some multicasts will be x3 instead of x2

  • ↔rework Omnislash:

Hero jumps around the battlefield for a short time, attacking his enemies with bonus damage and attackspeed
Duration 2.5/3/3.5 seconds (+0.5 seconds upgraded)

Aghanim grants 225 additional attack range (875 total) and allows wards to attack 2 enemies with every shot

  • ↔rework Stifling Dagger:

Deals damage based on hero’s total attack damage. 65 + 25/40/55/70%
Cast range 1200 -> 525/750/975/1200
Manacost 40 -> 30
Cooldown 7 -> 6
Notes:
Since this acts like a normal attack, it works with any on-hit effects, passives and items (Desolator, Coup de Grace, etc.)

Base damage from 140/180/225 (155/220/285) to 110/140/170 (135/170/205)
Damage grow per target 7% -> 11%
This means that it’s damage will now be higher starting from the 10th target

  • =Rescale Fatal Bond:

Now jumps like chain lightning: to closest target around new target in 700 range instead of affecting units in 700 range around main target (may now hit units farther away)

No longer has restriction of maximum damage based on enemy hp if he dies to a killing blow

  • +buff Phantom Rush:

Fixed Phantom Rush not being granted to Illusion Rune, Spirit Lance, Doppelganger and Juxtapose illusions
Also, Phantom Rush now automatically works on illusions even if they are not selected by the owner

Will use Stone Form automatically when they have <20% hp and stone form isn’t on cooldown (autouse!= autocast, can’t be disabled)
Stone Form stun duration is affected by enemies’ Status Resistance

  • +buff Nether Ward

Recoded, fully triggered now. Both of the Nether Ward’s abilities are now stackable from multiple wards and works fine in interaction with spells casted by creeps (used to waste x3 mana as damage)
Mana Flare (blast-per-cast) affects all skills, including skills with dynamic manacost (e.g. ball lightning, unrefined fireblast) and continuously draining skills like Chakram, Pulse Nova, etc.
Mana Drain drains 0.25/0.5/0.75/1% of maximum mana per second instead of 1.5/3/4.5/6. Does not affect spell immune, invulnerable, hidden units as well as neutral and lane creeps
This means that Mana Drain will now drain more mana than before for units with >600 mp

  • +buff Nether Swap:

Now has 2 charges. Cooldown 60/50/40 without aghanim, 14/12/10 with agh
Can use Nether Swap on unpathable terrain if enemy have free pathing or is flying

  • -nerf Kraken Shell:

Damage limit to drop debuffs from 300+25/20/15/10% of max hp increased to 400+30/24/18/12% of max hp
Now also has an innate cooldown of 3 seconds. It still counts taken damage for dispell but will not proc until cd is over (This cooldown is affected by CDR)

  • -nerf Aftershock:

Stun from 0.4/0.6/0.8/1 to 0.6/0.9/1.2/1.5. Now has 3 charges, each with a 10 seconds cooldown

Manacost 150/200/250 -> 200/225/250, cast range 1000 -> 800
Added Aghanim Upgrade: 2 charges with 40sec cd each

 

Minor rebalancing

  • +buff Essence Shift bonus for attacker reverted from 2 to 3 points per hit. Duration 20/40/60/80 sec -> 15/30/60/100 sec. Reminder: it’s affected by enemy status resistance
  • +buff Flak Cannon will not waste charges if no eligible other targets can be hit
  • +buff Drums of War now counts consumed items. Consumed Moonshard counted as Moonshard (single bonus like per 2k+ gold item) and Injected aghanim as Aghanim (double bonus as a 4k+ gold item)
  • +buff Rage cooldown decreased by 2 seconds, bonus attackspeed from 50/60/70/80% to 55/70/85/100%, duration 3.75/4.5/5.25/6 -> 4/5/6/7, Manacost 75 -> 90
  • +buff Atrophy aura damage bonus per unit per level increased by 1, from 1/2/3/4 to 2/3/4/5.
  • +buff Witchcraft bonus spellamp 4/6/8/10% -> 6/9/12/15%

  • =Rescale damage from Life Break – to enemy and self 35/35/35% (65 and 35% upg) to 32/38/44% both and 52/58/64% to enemy when upgraded

  • =rescale Echo Sabre 0.6 seconds 100% ms/as slow -> 0.8 seconds ms slow
  • =rescale Bloodstone actively heals by 30% of maximum mp instead of 60% of current
  • -nerf Hood of Defiance Spell Resistance 30% -> 25%, active Barrier hp 400 -> 325
  • -nerf Vanguard/Crimson Guard/Abyssal Blade: VG/Crimson hpreg 8 -> 7, damage block from 100% to block 32/16 dmg to 50% for block 70/35 dmg (However, active ability of Crimson Guard is slightly stronger)
  • =rescale Necronomicon Archers: no longer has Mana Burn ability, lvl 3 Archer now has Purge ability (slowing by same amount as diffusal blade + purges enemy)
  • Rescaled other Necronomicon unit stats, Last Will can be disabled by Break

Creeps

  • Siege creeps bonus dmg per upgrade cycle +3 dmg -> +4 dmg
  • Neutral Satyr Soustealer manaburn recoded, not it will be used by all selected satyrs (if you have more than one) at the same time
  • Black Dragon splashes full damage in 250 aoe instead of scaling with range

Misc

  • Cold Snap standard hotkey Y -> R (Y will be used as standard for new basic order)
  • Collect All Items hotkey (courier ability) from Y to C
  • Wisp Spirits Oscillate In/Out standard hotkeys D/F -> Z/X
  • Adaptiveness standard research hotkey M -> A

This map only supports Warcraft 3 patch 1.26! Not 1.24, 1.27, 1.28 or anything else
